El Paso County Sheriff's Office sent a clear message to those considering running from the law: "DON'T RUN — YOU WILL GET CAUGHT." This comes following an incident on Sunday, where deputies were successful in apprehending a trio of individuals after a brief vehicle pursuit and foot chase in San Elizario, Texas.

According to an official social media post by El Paso County Sheriff Oscar Ugarte, deputies were executing a search for a subject with two felony warrants from El Paso’s Top 10 Most Wanted list. When spotted entering a black vehicle, a traffic stop was initiated, but the driver ignored the signals, prompting a chase that ended at a residence in the 1400 block of Las Pampas.

The situation escalated when two occupants fled the vehicle and ran into the residence, an attempt to evade capture. Nevertheless, the law enforcement's tenacity paid off, and all three suspects, 39-year-old Moises Soria, 28-year-old Gloria Rojas, and 35-year-old Maria Rios, were detained and booked into the El Paso County Downtown Detention Facility.

Charges against these individuals ranged from Theft of Property and Possession of a Controlled Substance to multiple counts of Evading Arrest/Detention. Soria is faced with the heftiest bond of $411,000, whereas Rojas's bond was set at $500, with Rios's bond reaching $3,000. The incident underscores the Sheriff's Office's resolve in apprehending individuals who flout the law and the futility of attempted escapes.
