The altercation occurred on Sunday, December 28, when Jair Armando Rodriguez was involved in aggressive driving behavior that spiraled into a collision and shooting. The victim managed to escape the scene with no severe injuries.

An arrest warrant for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon was subsequently issued, securing Rodriguez's placement behind bars at the El Paso County Detention Facility.
