The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has taken into custody a 15-year-old from Elberton on charges of murder, following a fatal shooting that claimed the life of another teenager. Justin Cleveland stands accused of malice murder and felony murder after a dispute sparked violence inside a local McDonald's on Tuesday night. According to the GBI's report, the incident left 17-year-old Dontavius Marable dead, leading to Cleveland's arrest.

The confrontation between the two teens unfolded at approximately 10:15 PM on Tuesday, when Cleveland allegedly brandished a firearm and shot Marable. Despite medical efforts, Marable succumbed to his injuries. Cleveland, a minor, is booked into Wilkes Regional Youth Detention Center and is charged as an adult. Investigators are contemplating additional charges in the case. Dontavius Marable's body is slated for autopsy at the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office.
