Last week, the Professional Staff Association (PSA) of EPCC wrapped up its annual meeting at Cattlemen's Steakhouse in Fabens, Texas, with a flavor of real productivity and unity among its members. As reported by EPCC News, PSA President Grace Erivez, alongside Vice President and Annual Meeting Chair Martha Arvizo, orchestrated the proceedings that encouraged sharing, discussion, and a collective forging of ideas.
The event kicked into full swing from the get-go, designed to nurture open communication and further gel the bonds of collaboration among the professional community of EPCC. The keynote speaker, Oscar R. Velasquez, the District-wide Counselor Coordinator, took to the stage and shed light on the "art of storytelling" not just as a tool of rhetoric but as a key to meaningful connections within both professional and broader circles. According to EPCC News, Velasquez's talk resonated with the audience, prompting them to reflect on their own approaches to communication.
The meeting wasn't just talk; there was also action. Attendees engaged in conversations that went beyond the casual exchange, delving into personal experiences and ideation in an environment that was both authentic and charged with positive energy. The thrust of the event was as much about celebrating accomplishments and recognizing individuals as it was about aligning on forward-looking strategies.
