For those seeking a dash of Nordic flavor in their winter activities, the Outdoor Recreation School at Cleary Lake Regional Park is offering a unique opportunity to glide across the snow. On Tuesday, December 30, from 1 to 2:30 PM, participants can experience the park like never before on a Scandinavian-style kicksled, according to Scott County.
If snow or ice conditions are unsuitable for kicksledding, organizers say the activity will shift to a winter hike. Children 11 and under must be accompanied by a registered adult, according to event guidelines.
