Family disputes can too often escalate beyond heated words into tragic acts of violence, as was the case in a recent shooting in Atlanta. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers were called to 3640 Campbellton Rd SW on the evening of Saturday, where they found a male victim with gunshot wounds.
The victim was rushed to a hospital by Grady EMS. The suspected shooter later arrived, only to find police already on the scene. Preliminary investigation suggests the incident arose from a verbal dispute between the two men, who are related.
Both men are now facing charges as the investigation continues. Authorities are still examining the details and motives behind the altercation.
