Yesterday, the tranquility of an Atlanta neighborhood was disrupted by the sound of gunfire. According to an official release on the Atlanta Police Department website, officers from Zone 3 were called to the scene at 376 Cologne Dr. SE following the report of a shooting incident. They discovered a 48-year-old man, fatally wounded by multiple gunshots. Despite the swift response of medical teams, he was pronounced dead right there, where the violence had found him.
A second victim was also found at the scene. A 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound was alert, conscious, and breathing when he was transported to the hospital. His condition appeared to be stable. The Atlanta Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the fatal shooting.
