In a move set to increase travel connectivity and affordability, Frontier Airlines is expanding its itinerary with a slew of new routes launching in March 2026. Indianapolis International Airport will soon see nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, as reported by WTHR. Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines, expressed enthusiasm for the expansion. "There’s a lot to be excited about as we head into 2026, from expanding our network to rolling out our new first class experience, and we’re thrilled to offer Indianapolis-area consumers even more affordable flight options as we continue to grow," Flyr told WTHR.

This growth is not just confined to Indianapolis. Frontier has announced a major boost to its flight network with 23 new routes, including international flights to Mexico, detailed by Travel and Tour World. Catering to both domestic and spring break-bound vacationers, the airline has positioned itself as the go-to for budget-friendly travel options. Key among these new connections are flights from Nashville to Phoenix, and from Charlotte to Cancun, with promotional fares starting as low as $39*.

Frontier's eye on further tapping into the spring travel surge doesn’t end there. According to KTAR, six new flights from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport are slated to begin next March, enhancing the carrier's already-thriving presence in Arizona to 33 destinations. “We’re thrilled to offer even more affordable spring break flight options to and from Phoenix as we continue to grow,” said Flyr in a press release, promising a bolster in affordable travel choices.

Frontier’s aggressive expansion highlights its strategic decision to grow its network from major city hubs as well as secondary airports, ensuring more access to popular destinations. The move is poised to benefit consumers looking for direct flights and shorter travel times, without the burden of premium fares.
