The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a woman whose body was found off the 5000 block of Lonesome Pine Trail. The body was discovered on Tuesday around 6 p.m., and deputies responded to the private property soon after receiving a call, according to WVLT.
Authorities are investigating a woman's death. When they arrived at the scene on Tuesday, the "female’s deceased body was located." Her identity has not been released pending notification of her next of kin. Chief Deputy David Beverly told WGRV that "no further information is being released at this time."
