Gwinnett County law enforcement authorities are on the lookout for an individual involved in the theft of a tractor-trailer from Mayer Electric Supply. The suspect's unauthorized joyride, which took place on November 24, ended with the stolen vehicle being abandoned, still running, near the establishment where it was taken. This incident was reported by FOX 5 Atlanta.
Surveillance footage from inside the cab shows the suspect struggling to start the truck before eventually driving it off the lot. Officers later found the Freightliner abandoned but still running near Mayer Electric Supply, according to WSB-TV.
Gwinnett County Police are still investigating and are asking the public for tips to help identify the suspect. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.
