In an overnight operation that transitioned swiftly from a casual patrol to a significant narcotics bust, deputies with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office apprehended a 26-year-old individual, Santiago Molina, at a local skate park. The HCSO detailed in a social media post that Molina was found in his vehicle at the Jackson Springs Skate Park past the designated hours.
The deputies' encounter began innocently enough, with Molina claiming he had stopped at the park to make a phone call. However, a resulting search of Molina's person and his vehicle unearthed a cache of illegal substances consistent with the intent to sell. As per the HCSO's post, the deputies confiscated "cocaine, ketamine, MDMA, and packaging materials," along with a firearm and a quantity of cash.
