Honolulu police are investigating a fatal shooting in the Salt Lake area. A man was shot multiple times near Salt Lake Boulevard and Kamehameha Highway around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, as reported by the Honolulu Police Department.
Police reported a shooting in Salt Lake and a related reckless endangering incident on Kohomua Street the same night. The suspects are believed to have fled in a black vehicle, and no arrests or suspect identifications have been announced, as stated by the Honolulu Police Department.
According to the Honolulu Police Department on their Facebook page, anyone with information is asked to contact authorities at 911 or Honolulu CrimeStoppers at (808) 955-8300. Police are reviewing security footage and witness accounts as the investigation continues.
