
The Honolulu Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance following a fatal shooting in Hālawa. A 19-year-old male was shot and later died after being targeted by multiple suspects last Thursday. In a social media post on their official Facebook page, the HPD requested that anyone with information come forward, particularly regarding the suspects or the silver-colored Kia Soul they were seen exiting at the time of the incident.
Multiple suspects were observed exiting a silver-colored Kia Soul, and the victim, identified as Aron Lucky, was fatally shot while walking toward the Hālawa Housing Complex. The case has been classified as second-degree murder. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
The suspects, dressed in black with their faces obscured, fled the scene in a vehicle, last seen heading toward Aloha Stadium on Salt Lake Boulevard. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident and gather information from the public.
