Responders from Northampton Fire/Rescue were dispatched to 29 Fort Hill Terrace shortly after 9:20 pm, following an urgent call signaling a structure fire, only to find a two-story, single-family dwelling ablaze. Upon arrival, Northampton Police had already attempted an entry but were pushed back by the intensity of the conflagration. "While en route, they received additional information that a person might be trapped inside," Northampton Fire Chief Andrew Pelis said, as reported by the Department of Fire Services.
