
Memphis police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a young girl at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital yesterday afternoon. According to Action News 5, officers were dispatched to the hospital for a "dead-on-arrival" call at 4:03 p.m. and arrived to find one juvenile female, whose exact age remains unconfirmed, pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into the manner of the girl's death is ongoing, with multiple squad cars and an MPD crime scene van stationed at the hospital's entrance.
As part of the investigation effort, authorities have yet to release further details regarding the girl's identity or cause of death.
