The Kettering Police Department has heightened its search for Eric Lee Miller, who is currently wanted on multiple charges, including a felony offense for obstructing official business and aggravated possession of drugs. The announcement was made through their social media channels, as part of the department's weekly #WantedWednesday initiative aimed at enlisting the public's assistance in tracking down fugitives.
According to the Kettering Police Department's Facebook post, Miller also has a misdemeanor warrant for failing to appear on a probation violation related to a domestic violence incident. The department's post indicates that the public should be vigilant, and they urge anyone with information on Miller's whereabouts to immediately contact KPD Dispatch at (937)296-2555.
Authorities have not provided specific details on the circumstances surrounding Miller's alleged crimes. However, the aggravated possession charge implies that the quantity or nature of the drugs involved was significant, which has the potential to exacerbate the penalties he may face if convicted.
While the search continues, the Kettering Police underscore the importance of community involvement when fugitives are at large. Still with the upper hand, they caution citizens not to engage directly with Miller but rather to report sightings to the authorities, ensuring that law enforcement professionals can handle the situation safely and appropriately.
