The Knoxville Police Department's Community Engagement Response Team arrested 20-year-old Jayden Blevins while he was driving on Chapman Highway. Blevins was wanted on 14 outstanding warrants, including burglary, felony theft, theft of a firearm, and a parole or probation violation, as reported by the Knoxville Police Department.
The arrest was connected to a prior weapons charge for possession with intent to go armed. CERT officers carried out the operation safely and without incident, ensuring proper identification and apprehension, as stated by the Knoxville Police Department.
According to the Knoxville Police Department on their Facebook page, a suspect was arrested at the Kenjo gas station on 3120 Chapman Highway. The department recognized the Community Engagement Response Team for their "diligence and daily efforts to make our community safer." The arrest was carried out without incident.
