The Knoxville Police Department (KPD) has identified 32-year-old Inmer Arita as the victim of a fatal shooting on December 6. The incident occurred outside Arita's residence on McCalla Avenue, where he was found deceased with a gunshot wound, as reported by WBIR. Preliminary investigations by KPD's homicide unit suggest that the violence unfolded following a physical altercation between Arita and another man.

Alvarado-Lainez, who was seen driving away from the scene in a Dodge truck that was later found abandoned, has an active warrant for unlawful weapon possession. The search for Alvarado-Lainez continues, with law enforcement officials fervently following up on leads.
In a bid to further the investigation, KPD has reached out to the public for assistance.
