Tonight's forecast anticipates increasing clouds, dropping temperatures to a low around 31°F, the calm wind remaining a constant companion through the chill; Sunday will bring mostly cloudy conditions and a high about 51°F, subsequently Sunday night has a forecasted 50 percent chance of showers and a cloudy low around 37.
Heading into the workweek, Knoxville can expect a 40 percent chance of showers mainly before 1 pm on Monday, with mostly cloudy skies and a peak of around 43°F, while the following night dips to a mostly cloudy 28°F, with a calm wind expected after a north breeze of around 5 mph. On Tuesday, sunshine breaks through more dominantly, highs aiming near 48°F, and winds shifting light southwest to 5-10 mph, gusts potentially hitting 20 mph, according to NWS.
The remainder of the week reveals a partly cloudy Tuesday night with a low around 36°F, while Wednesday heats to 54°F though breezy, then Wednesday night returns to a 40 percent chance of showers and a low around 34, the weather pattern seemingly wavering as we approach Thursday, presenting a 30 percent chance of showers and another mostly cloudy high near 50 — Friday rounds out the week with a subdued 20 percent chance of showers and partly sunny highs near 48.
