Roadway rehabilitation is currently underway at the intersection of 17th Street and Hoover after a local resident reported a concern. Public Works crews inspected the area and determined that repairs were needed to improve the condition of the roadway, according to the City of Lawton.
Work on the current section is expected to be completed within the next few days. After that, crews will move to the opposite lane to finish repairs on that side as well, as reported by the City of Lawton.
