Lewisville's thoroughfares are in for a bit of an overhaul as the city gears up to improve the state of College Parkway. According to a social media announcement from Lewisville City Hall, SAZ Infrastructure, Inc. has been tapped to bring its road repair expertise to bear on the eastbound span stretching from Garden Ridge Blvd. to Cimmaron Strip Rd.
The project, which kicked off yesterday, is expected to wrap up by mid-January—specifically, Friday, January 16th—should the skies play nice. Given the nature of such undertakings, those trundling down this route will need to brace for "various lane closures," ensuring vehicles remain clear of the work-in-progress confines. This means, the City cautions, practicing patience and exercising caution amidst the hum and hustle of heavy machinery.
Lewisville's Street Division is standing by for any queries or concerns residents might have. They can be reached at 972.219.3510—a number that might as well be etched in the minds of motorists seeking insights or simply wishing to voice their inconvenience. And inconvenience, the City concedes, is part and parcel of progress, as they extend an advance apology for any disruptions the necessary work may cause.
