A man has died from injuries sustained in a shooting in the Baden neighborhood on the evening last Saturday. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported that District 6 officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Fremont around 5:30 p.m., where they found a 54-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.
The man, found unresponsive and having difficulty breathing, was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead a few hours later. Homicide detectives are investigating the incident to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
Preliminary reports indicate that the victim had arrived at the residence and was inside when the shooting occurred. Investigators are asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
