A tragic incident unfolded last Saturday at a south St. Louis County hotel where a fatal shooting took place. St. Louis County police were called to Americas Best Value Inn, located at 6602 S. Lindbergh Boulevard in Affton, around 9:30 p.m., as reported by KSDK. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man dead from gunshot wounds. The victim was later identified as 47-year-old Jason Manes of Imperial, Missouri.
Detectives have launched an investigation into the shooting and have identified an the woman as a person of interest. According to MSN, Manes was involved in a dispute with this woman just before the fatal incident occurred. The woman was taken into custody and has been interviewed by law enforcement officials.
The St. Louis County Police Department's Bureau of Crimes Against Persons is currently handling the ongoing investigation.
