
Tragedy struck Tower Grove South on November 11, when a 38-year-old man was shot and pronounced dead in the 3700 block of Winnebago Street. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported that the call came in shortly after 3 p.m., leading officers to discover the victim with gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene to only confirm the man's death. The homicide unit has fully begun to actively investigate the shooting, and thus far, the circumstances remain unclear.
As the neighborhood grapples with this loss, the authorities are calling on any individuals with information to step forward. The urgency to find answers has led to the department encouraging witnesses, or anyone with knowledge of the incident, to contact the Homicide Division directly at 314-444-5371.
