On Tuesday, a man got into a conflict in Atlanta’s homeless community. According to the Atlanta Police Department's preliminary report, officers were called to 80 Jesse Hill Jr Dr SE, responding to an incident involving the victim bearing the grim signature of violence - multiple stab wounds. The unsheltered victim, who was later privately transported to the hospital, reported that the attack took place within an encampment near Pryor Rd.
Shortly after 11:08 p.m. that December night, authorities investigated a dispute that reportedly turned violent, with the victim treated at a local emergency room. Officers canvassing the area, however, found no additional leads.
The unnamed man remains hospitalized, recovering from injuries. Authorities say the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
