
On Sunday afternoon at around 3:40 p.m., a 34-year-old man reported being threatened with a firearm at Wai‘anae Boat Harbor. The suspect, a local male in his 20s, fired a round and pointed the handgun at the victim before fleeing, according to the Honolulu Police Department.
Witnesses described the suspect as about 5’7” with a dark brown complexion, wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, green surf shorts, and a dark fanny pack. He fled in a black four-door Honda Accord, possibly heading eastbound on Farrington Highway, as reported by the Honolulu Police Department.
The Honolulu Police Department is investigating a first-degree terroristic threatening in Wai‘anae. No one was injured. Honolulu Police Department asks anyone with information to call 911 or CrimeStoppers at (808) 955-8300. The investigation is ongoing.
