Early yesterday morning, a man was shot during an altercation on MLK Jr Dr SW in Atlanta. The Atlanta Police Department reported officers responded to the scene at 1:17 a.m. at 3804 MLK Jr Dr SW. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and was taken to a local hospital by Grady EMS.
The incident began when the victim was sitting on steps and was approached by two male suspects. A verbal exchange led to gunfire.
The suspects and motive are still unknown. The Atlanta Police Department is investigating and asks anyone with information to come forward.
