The Mankato Police Explorers, a group of young volunteers affiliated with the Mankato police department, displayed their commitment to community engagement by lending a helping hand at the treasured Kiwanis Holiday Lights event this past Friday. In a social media post from Mankato Police and Fire, the department expressed gratitude towards the Explorers, Kiwanis, and all other participating organizations and volunteers who contribute to this annual festivity, often hailed as one of Mankato’s signature holiday experiences.
Despite the challenges posed by a blizzard-filled weekend, the Kiwanis Holiday Lights display remains a beacon of seasonal joy. With only a couple of days left before its conclusion this year, the chance to absorb the glowing spectacle is drawing to a close.
The statement obtained by Mankato Police and Fire enlightened visitors that the final night to partake in this luminous tradition would be Wednesday, December 31.
