With winter settling in across Maple Grove, Minnesota, a local effort is underway to support residents facing the cold without adequate clothing. The Justin Morneau Winter Warm-Up Coat Drive is accepting donations of new or gently used coats, aiming to provide warmth to those in need, according to the City of Maple Grove.
In a recent post, the City of Maple Grove encouraged community members to drop off donations at the Maple Grove Police Department, located at the Public Safety Facility at 12800 Arbor Lakes Parkway. Coats will be accepted through December 14. "Together, we can help make winter a little warmer for those in need," the post read.
