In the spirit of giving, the City of Maple Grove is hosting a toy drive to make sure every child gets a taste of holiday joy. The CROSS Services Toy Drive is calling for donations on behalf of the less fortunate kids in the community, and it's a prime opportunity to unload some of that gift-giving gusto. If you've got a soft spot for spreading cheer to youngsters and teens alike, this is your cue to step up.

Toys that haven't been wrapped up yet and are suitable for kids 10 and under can be dropped off at a collection trio: the Maple Grove Government Center, the Public Safety Facility, or the Community Center, according to the City of Maple Grove. The deadline is approaching, with donations accepted through December 18. Gift drop-offs are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

To ensure older children are included, the city is encouraging gift card donations for youth ages 11–17. Gift cards may be dropped off at the Police Department during the same hours, helping ensure teens are not overlooked in holiday giving efforts. "Your generosity makes a difference for local families," the City of Maple Grove stated.
