
The City of Marietta is set to hold a reception honoring three of its soon-to-be former City Council members. Grif Chalfant, Andy Morris, and Johnny Walker are the honorees being celebrated for their committed service to the local government and the general Marietta community, according to an official announcement from the city's news release.
Scheduled for tomorrow from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, the event offers up a chance for community members to express their gratitude and perhaps to shake hands with the outgoing council members, beneath the historical ambience of the Marietta Fire Museum - Station 51 located at 112 Haynes Street, as reported by the City of Marietta.
