Maui police are asking the public to help identify a man who may have witnessed an assault in Kihei on December 7 at 7:24 p.m. The incident occurred in front of a South Kihei Road business, and a photo of the person has been released.
On Dec. 15, Maui Police shared the image and asked anyone who knows the man to contact Detective Kamuela Mawae at (808) 875-5411.
What Investigators Say
According to the department, the man in the photo may have witnessed an assault on Dec. 7 at 7:24 p.m. in front of 2411 South Kihei Road. Detectives say even a brief interaction or a few seconds of video could aid the investigation.
