Memphis police are seeking information after an early morning shooting incident at a local EZ Mart left one person narrowly escaping harm. According to the Memphis Police Department, the victim entered the precinct to report the assault, which occurred at 2380 Frayser Boulevard, stating that around 2:40 a.m., they encountered gunfire from a blue SUV as they were leaving the store.
Police described the attack involving an AR-style rifle, with the suspects discharging approximately 8-10 shots at the victim. Following the incident, the suspects sped away heading west on Frayser Boulevard. The victim, who survived the ordeal, took the step to file a report with law enforcement nearly eight hours later, as detailed by the Memphis Police Department.
Detailed descriptions of the three assailants have been released in the hopes that the public might be able to assist in their identification. Suspect #1 was reported wearing a green Nike hoodie, black pants, and had a firearm. Suspect #2 sported a white shirt paired with red pants and grey and white Nike sneakers, and suspect #3 was attired in a black hoodie, black pants complemented by black and white shoes.
