Action News 5 reported that the victim was confronted by four individuals, all dressed in black and wearing ski masks, and at least two were wielding firearms. The attackers struck the boy in the face with a handgun before taking his iPhone 11, clothing, and cash.
The robbery not only resulted in a theft of personal belongings but also in a violent assault on the minor. According to FOX13 Memphis, the suspects ordered the teen to remove his black "valabases" pants, a black shirt with "California" on the back, and blue Crocs, along with taking $10 from him.
The Memphis Safe Task Force was able to track down the stolen iPhone 11, which started to ping at 1474 S. Third, yet the perpetrators remain at large. Officers searched the area for the suspects but were unsuccessful in locating them.
