
The Miami Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public in tracing the whereabouts of Sophia Arreola, a 14-year-old girl reported missing since early this morning. According to Local 10 News, Sophia was last seen in the Coral Way area of Miami.
The teen stands at 5-foot-1 and weighs approximately 115 lbs., characterized by her red hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was clothed in a grey hoodie, grey shorts, and black crocs. The police have flagged her case as concerning, stating that she is "endangered."
Authorities are further defining the search parameters, with The Miami Herald reporting that Sophia was last seen in the vicinity delimited by Southwest First Avenue to the east, 27th Avenue/Unity Boulevard to the west, and bordered by the Dolphin Expressway and U.S. 1 to the north and south, respectively. This is the area covered by the Little Havana/Coral Way Neighborhood Enhancement Team.
