Miami Sets Early Voting Schedule Ahead of December 9 Run-Off Election

Miami voters gearing up for the city run-off election on December 9 now have a schedule for early voting. According to an announcement by the City of Miami, early voting will commence tomorrow, and continue through the weekend, with sites open across the city. Residents looking to cast their votes ahead of election day can do so from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. tomorrow, and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

For those ready to quickly exercise their civic duty, a variety of early voting locations are available, including the Carrie P. Meek Senior and Cultural Center and the Stephen P. Clark Government Center. The full list of sites was released in a notice on the city's official website. Each location will also feature a secure ballot intake station for voters looking to simply drop off their completed Vote-by-Mail ballots.

Voters are reminded to bring a valid ID that includes their name, photo, and signature when heading to the polls. Although the voter information card is not required, officials note that having it on hand can help streamline the check-in process.
