
Following an armed robbery at a Milford gas station Sunday evening, local police quickly apprehended a suspect. According to the Milford Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:22 PM at Riverside Gas, 146 South Main Street. An employee described the suspect as a white male wearing a black mask and grey shirt, who fled with several packs of cigarettes after a failed attempt to steal cash from the register.
Milford patrol officers, along with the Detective Bureau, K-9 Unit, Special Operations Team, and Massachusetts State Police K-9 Unit, searched for the suspect. Less than an hour later, a man matching the description was spotted on Green Street. Adam Busuito, 34, was taken into custody while leaving Milford.
According to the Police Department of Milford, Massachusetts, during the night, investigators recovered a black Walther P22 6MM BB gun behind Honey Dew Donuts at 140 South Main Street, along with a 'Ghostface' mask and clothing similar to what the suspect had worn, found by K-9 Titan in a nearby parking lot. Chief of Police Robert Tusino praised the department’s work, saying, “I’m grateful for the outstanding work by the men and women of the Milford Police Department to bring this violent crime to such a quick resolution.”
Busuito is charged with armed robbery, assault, resisting arrest, and trespassing. He also had an outstanding warrant for a prior armed robbery in Boston.
