Milton kicked off the holiday season with a touch of traditional festivity, as Santa Claus, along with Mayor Peyton Jamison and other helpers, fired up the Christmas spirit by illuminating the official city tree at Broadwell Pavilion on Saturday evening. As reported by the City of Milton's official website, this tree lighting marked the culmination of the Christmas in Crabapple event, complete with a bespoke snow display and live carols courtesy of the Milton High School chorus.
The celebration saw Santa making a grand entrance on a Milton Fire truck, escorted by the sounds of Cambridge High’s marching band. Despite the cold, a vibrant crowd had gathered, participating in various activities, staying warm with hot chocolate, and savoring food to stay well-fed and content. Wrapped in the warmth of community cheer, the attendees found themselves at the heart of Milton's Christmas spirit.
