Milton's City Hall Council Chambers transformed into a festive Winter Wonderland yesterday, as families gathered for an enchanting Tea Party with Mrs. Claus. According to the official City of Milton, attendees were in for a treat with various Christmas activities and some unexpected drama.
While children enjoyed finger foods and warm sips of hot chocolate, the event took an unexpected turn when Jingles, one of the three favorite elves present, accidentally compromised Santa's high-tech sleigh system. In a delightful twist of events, Mrs. Claus made a timely appearance and, with the crowd's help, resolved the issue just in time — Santa even called to express his relief and gratitude. Heartwarming as it unfolded, the technology, powered by something called TEA, was supposedly saved by tinsel wands and antler magic.
Following the sleigh debacle, the atmosphere buzzed with activities as the spirit of Christmas was palpably restored. Children took turns taking pictures with Mrs. Claus and eagerly listened as she read "Mrs. Claus Takes the Reins," a book the City of Milton described as "close to her heart." The event, complete with a crafts room, cookie decorating, and face painting, provided a cherished sense of community and holiday cheer.
According to the City of Milton's report, the Tea Party with Mrs. Claus also concluded the city’s series of official holiday events. However, the festivities in Milton didn’t end there, with expectations of further excitement in the days leading up to Christmas.
