The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of Antoine Watts, 24, of Mobile, Alabama, on charges of electronic solicitation of a minor. The arrest followed a joint undercover investigation conducted by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). The Sheriff’s Office provided details of Watts’ alleged criminal activity in a press release.
According to a social media post from the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, Watts allegedly engaged in conversations with an undercover officer he believed to be a 14-year-old girl. The arrest was made after Watts allegedly solicited sex and sent obscene material electronically. The suspect also suggested that the child steal a car for the planned encounter, an action highlighting the risk posed to the minor.
The investigation unveiled that Watts, who claimed to be an adult content creator featured in adult content, self-produced pornographic content that was discovered on several adult pornography websites. Following his arrest, Watts acknowledged sending the explicit materials and intending to meet the alleged minor for sexual activity.
