A house fire in Yates Bay North drew a rapid response from local fire departments Thursday afternoon, officials said. According to an alert by tip411, the fire at 9107 Yates Bay North was reported at 2:45 PM, and first responders arrived to find the garage fully engulfed in flames, with the fire spreading to the surrounding house.
A second alarm was called, bringing in additional fire crews from Fridley, Brooklyn Center, Osseo, and Plymouth to provide mutual aid. The combative efforts proved effective, and the blaze was brought under control in short order. Despite the intensity of the fire, injuries were minimal, with one firefighter sustaining minor injuries. After being treated at a local hospital, they were released.
Support from the Red Cross was also requested to assist those affected by the incident. The local community's spirit, often resilient in the face of such challenges, was undoubtedly bolstered by the swift action and collaboration of multiple fire departments and emergency services.
