As winter temperatures settle over Marietta, MUST Ministries’ Hope House is expanding its services to support those affected by the cold. The shelter has opened its warming station on select days — including yesterday, Monday, December 8, and Tuesday, December 9 — providing a safe, heated space for men, women, and children seeking refuge from the dropping temperatures.
In a move preparing to welcome residents impacted by the dropping temperatures, the Hope House will offer not only shelter but also meals, as captured in a recent update from Cobb County's official website. Required to secure a spot at the facility, guests are encouraged to arrive by 8 p.m.
Located at 1297 Bells Ferry Road, the Hope House serves as a key support site for the community. To help those without transportation, Cobb County is providing transit vouchers through its partner organization, Reflections of Trinity. The group, located at 4037 Austell-Powder Springs Road in Powder Springs, distributes the vouchers to individuals needing a ride to the shelter. Residents can contact Reflections of Trinity at (770) 222-6511 for assistance.
