Construction is set to seriously ramp up at the Florence Administrative Campus with the Pinal County announcement of a new Administration building slated to break ground on January 5, 2026. As outlined on Pinal County's official website, this large-scale project is going to add a five-story, 125,000 square foot structure to the compound, which will become home to essential county departments such as the Assessor, Recorder, and Treasurer's Offices, along with Human Resources, the Office of Budget & Finance, and Economic & Workforce Development teams.
The build, expected to fully complete in two years, is not going to happen without its fair share of disruption to the daily campus comings and goings – folks should brace themselves for increased noise and a squeeze on available parking. Pinal County advises those needing to access services at Building E or the Development Services Building to use the blue-shaded parking lot to the north, accessed via N. Park St.
For visitors with disabilities, several ADA parking spaces are designated south of the Development Services building, also accessible from N. Park St. Meanwhile, those attending the Board of Supervisors Meetings at the 1891 Courthouse, or other meetings at the Emergency Operations Center, can park in the general parking lots, which are clearly marked in pink on the provided campus map.
Additional parking options are available thanks to the Town of Florence, which permits on-street parking, plus there are three municipal parking lots that are within easy walking distance of the campus. "We appreciate your patience during this construction period," read a statement by Pinal County. They encourage anyone with questions to reach out to the Pinal County Citizen Contact Center at 520-509-3555, or simply dial 311 if calling from within the county.
