In a ceremony held by the West Valley Fire Department, a new member, Kristal Kliment, was officially welcomed into the fold. The West Valley Fire Department shared the news in a Facebook post, detailing the pinning ritual that signifies the formal induction of a firefighter.
During her heartfelt address, Kliment expressed deep gratitude and attributed her strength and confidence to a higher power. She stated, "This is such a privilege to be here receiving my badge, all honor and glory to my lord and savior Jesus Christ." The statement, speaking at the event cited by the West Valley Fire Department, reflects her personal faith as a foundation for her journey into the firefighter's life.
Kliment did not miss the opportunity to thank her peers and mentors in the department, specifically acknowledging two members who introduced her to the path of service. "To Azzle and Daisy for inviting me to Thursday trainings that morning I met them at the career fair, and for everyone being patient and willing to not only invite me into your home but pouring your knowledge into me and sacrificing time to teach me," she praised her fellow firefighters for their support and mentorship, as per the West Valley Fire Department.
