New Orleans Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted for simple battery. The suspect has been identified as Michael White, a Black male born on May 20, 1972, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He was last known to be driving a black Range Rover, as reported by the New Orleans Police Department.
According to the New Orleans Police Department Facebook post, the incident occurred on December 20, 2025, in the 7700 block of Hayne Boulevard. Police say White knocked the victim to the ground and struck them several times with his fist before fleeing the scene.
