The New Orleans Police Department has requested the public's assistance in locating a person of interest connected to a recent burglary. The incident in question took place on the night of November 27, 2025, at approximately 11:42 p.m. within a business located in the 2000 block of Gentilly Boulevard, as reported by the New Orleans Police Department.
The individual, whose image has been circulated by the police, is not wanted for the crime but is believed to have information critical to the investigation. The New Orleans Police Department has also identified a Dodge Neon, which may be associated with this individual, and was bearing a switched Louisiana license plate with the number 917 GLS, at the time of the incident, according to the New Orleans Police Department Facebook post.
"The pictured individual is NOT currently wanted for this crime and is sought only because of the information they are believed to possess," the New Orleans Police Department clarified in their public statement. While the details of the burglary are still under wraps, the New Orleans Police Department's message indicates that this person could shed light on the case that remains unresolved.
Community members with any knowledge about the crime, or the person of interest's whereabouts, are being urged to come forward.
