The New Orleans Police Department is requesting assistance from the community in identifying and locating a suspect. According to a social media post by the NOPD, an incident occurred around 11:47 a.m. on Tuesday in which a man reportedly took cash from a business on the 5000 block of Canal Street and then left the scene.
The NOPD describes the suspect as a male, approximately 30 years old, with distinctive tattoos, including "NOLA" on his chin and "Eastbank" across his knuckles. Police are asking anyone with information that could help locate the suspect to come forward.
