
A Norman Police Department officer is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle while outside of his patrol unit on State Highway 9, just west of 108th Avenue SE. The collision occurred yesterday at approximately 7:19 p.m., and the officer was promptly taken to a local hospital. According to the City of Norman, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the incident.
