
The Oakland Police Department has issued a call for help in identifying an individual linked to a violent carjacking and assault case that took place earlier this fall. The crime occurred on October 1 on the 1100 block of Clay Street.
Responding to the incident, officers found a 77-year-old victim, who had sustained severe injuries, according to a social media post from the Oakland Police Department. The security footage provides key details about the suspect, who is described as a Black female believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, with a slight build and her hair pulled back in a ponytail.
