In a display of community spirit and seasonal giving, the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office teamed up with Sunbeam Family Services to bring the 25th annual Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Christmas Celebration to life. Informing the public, the Sheriff's Office took to social media to highlight the longstanding partnership with Sunbeam Family Services, which has been dedicated to providing Christmas gifts for families that may otherwise go without during the holiday season.
Held in the heart of Oklahoma County, the event served more than 400 children this year, a testament to its significant expansion since its inception. Volunteers, including deputies from the Sheriff's Office and Sunbeam Family Services' staff, handed out toys and warm smiles, ensuring a festive atmosphere. Spreading some holiday cheer, the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office shared, "For a quarter century, the Sheriffs Office has partnered with Sunbeam Family Services to provide Christmas gifts to families in need."
